Our Approach
We are a small landscape design studio with a hands-on, grounded approach. Every garden we create is thoughtfully crafted; shaped by knowledge, sustainability and connection to the local environment.
Nothing is off-the-shelf. Each space is a quiet collaboration between architecture, landform, and lifestyle. Every element is placed to serve both function and feeling. We work with the site, not against it; letting light, movement, and native texture lead the way.
Our gardens are thoughtfully composed to reflect the local ecology. Favouring endemic species, sustainable materials, and low-impact systems, we create spaces that encourage biodiversity, reduce maintenance, allowing them to evolve naturally over time.
The Process
We take on a limited number of projects each year to ensure each one receives our full attention. Whether starting from a blank canvas or reimagining an existing space, our process is collaborative, clear, and design-driven.
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is an opportunity to discuss your vision, ideas, and goals for your new or existing garden. We’ll walk through the space together and offer design suggestions to help unlock its full potential. This includes assessing the site’s orientation, architecture, and existing features to help give the best recommendations.
We’ll also take the time to understand your budget and the design elements that matter most to you. The consultation typically takes just over an hour, and afterwards, you’ll receive a detailed design fee proposal outlining the scope of work and next steps.
Landscape Design Phase
Draft plan and concept design
Once you decide to move forward with us, we begin by translating ideas into plans, moodboards and planting palettes to create a draft plan that reflects your home and lifestyle and how the space should function and feel.
When the draft is approved, it will evolve into a concept design plan that outlines layout, sections and elevations, materials, structures, and core features.
Handover
At handover, you’ll receive a comprehensive design package that includes the approved concept plan, planting schedule, material selection, lighting and irrigation plans, ensuring you’re ready to move seamlessly into the build.
Landscape Construction
When your unique landscape design plan has been finalised, we can begin construction. We can manage the full build or collaborate closely with your chosen team to bring the vision to life. Whether we oversee construction or guide the process alongside others, we ensure every detail is executed with care, consistency, and true to the design intent.
Aftercare & Growth
Once your garden is installed, we offer ongoing maintenance to ensure it continues to thrive as per the design. From gentle pruning to seasonal care, our team tends each space with the same attention and intention that went into its creation — allowing the landscape to mature naturally, stay healthy, and look its best all year round.
